The Fiddlesticks program is for boys and girls in K-2nd grade to introduce them to lacrosse!  Kids love the game of Lacrosse, and this is where it all starts. 

2020 Spring Schedule

  • 5/1 - No fiddlesticks
  • 5/8 4-5pm Fiddlesticks (Snyder)
  • 5/15 4-5pm Fiddlesticks (Snyder)
  • 5/22 4-5pm Fiddlesticks (Snyder)

The season is a bit shorter and players use soft balls and fiddlesticks to gain confidence and learn basic passing, catching, shooting, cradling, and ground ball skills. This is a non-contact activity!  No games and practices are once a week during the spring season.

Your Tiny Tomahawks will love the challenge and excitement of Lacrosse, while getting exercise and making friends.

  • Every Tiny Tomahawk gets an official SYL t-shirt
  • Every Tiny Tomahawk gets a fiddlestick 
  • Location is TBD ( typically at Snyder Park)
  • Practices are once a week
  • Practices last 60 minutes
  • 6 weeks of instruction and fun (typically in April - May)
  • Each Player needs to be a US Lacrosse Member (Membership costs for US Lacrosse is $30 for one year)
